Harborough Town FC U18s got off to a flying start in the Leicestershire Midweek floodlit game recording a 5-1 win over Lutterworth Athletic FC, in their first game of the season. Harborough started the lively but throughout the first half became frustrated through lack of success in front of goal. However when Barnes Gladman put the home team in front just before the break, Harborough settled down and went in the stronger team at half time.
Lutterworth started the second half well pulling level not long after the re-start. However Harborough grabbed hold of the game from then on in, and their fitness & quality shone through, with Gladman grabbing the second, Aaron Watts achieving a well earn goal, Matt Bizely also getting on the scoresheet with Matthew Tutt putting the icing on the cake with a superb effort close the full time, completing a 5-1 win. |
